The BPS Learning Centre is the training and development portal for The British Psychological Society. It provides information and guidance on professional development, is home to an online CPD system for recording professional development and offers CPD opportunities to Psychologists and those working in related fields. In addition to running a programme of CPD events each year, and providing e-learning courses, the BPS Learning Centre also runs a scheme to approve CPD offered by external providers.
CPD Approval SchemeThe CPD Approval Scheme is the Society’s model of approving programmes or events (including workshops, lectures, symposia and conferences), that meet our standards. It enables CPD providers, including Higher Education Institutions to have programmes or events that are of relevance to psychology and/or psychologists approved. For more information on our standards or the approval process Raising awareness of adult autismThe Society has developed a series of e-learning modules to raise awareness of adult autism. The modules appeal to a range of learners, including members of the public. The modules concentrate on raising awareness, delivering knowledge and understanding from introductory to specialist levels.The three e-learning modules are:
